THE All Progressives Congress (APC), at the weekend, alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led Federal Government had perfected plans to clamp its national leader, Senator Bola Tinubu; its presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari; and other major financiers of the party into jail on trumped-up charges before the start of elections next Saturday.
The party alleged that the plan, which was leaked to it was aimed at decapitating the opposition and conferred undue advantage on the ruling party in the elections.
But the PDP, in a reaction same Saturday, said the statements issued by the APC in recent times bordered on frivolities and poorly-concocted wild allegations, concluding that the opposition party “is suffering from near success syndrome trauma,” which “often leads to paranoia and delusion.” READ MORE HERE
